Squirrel-Proof Design
The squirrel-proof design is centered around a spinning perch. When a squirrel tries to gain access to the feeder, the weight-sensitive perch activates the motor. The spinning action then gently tosses the squirrel off before it can devour your seed supply. In addition, the tight-fitting metal cap prevents squirrels from lifting the lid, while the long seed reservoir prevents them from reaching the ports from above.
A 100% squirrel-proof feeder starts with hanging it correctly! Hang the feeder at least 4’ off the ground and 8’ away from anything a squirrel can jump from, so squirrels can’t reach the ports without activating the spinning perch.
